The corner office was not a reward. It was a prison cell with a better view.
I know what it looks liketo win in rooms God neverassigned you to stay in.
My story begins with two God-fearing parents who have been married fifty-five years, a rare kind of legacy that few people ever get to witness up close. Their marriage gave me a living picture of faith, integrity, discipline, and covenant.
My father is a Bible scholar turned minister. His presence and obedience, alongside my mother's gangster faith, shaped how I move, how I discern, and how I navigate life.
Everything ambitiouspeople are taught to do.
From that foundation, I went on to do everything ambitious people are taught to do. I shattered the glass ceiling in corporate America, rose into executive leadership, came within reach of the C-suite, and closed and managed more than a billion dollars in revenue for some of the world's most admired brands.
As a divorced single mother, I brought home the kind of commission checks that, in a single payout, exceeded what some people would not see in a year.
The corner office was not a reward. It was a prison cell with a better view.
Rich in finances.Bankrupt in spirit.
By every external measure, I was winning. It was not until I fully surrendered that I faced the hard truth many Christians do not want to confront.
Success without obedience is still a loss.
One interview changed my life. The woman who would become my boss asked what every sales leader gets asked: what is the number one trait of a great sales leader? The expected answers are passion, determination, tenacity. I gave the one the Spirit put on my heart. Integrity. Years later she told me that answer is why she hired me. Almost ten years on, it still holds.
That conviction cost me at tables where I was expected to overlook what should not have been overlooked. I could not do it. The Lord had already told me to move. Looking back, He had been preparing me for years. He gave me the gifts, and He used corporate to sharpen them.
They were rooms I belonged in. They were not rooms I was supposed to stay in.
God had been telling me to leave for years, but I did not have faith that I could make it on my own. So, He let everything shake. What the enemy meant for evil, God used for good. He did not waste a single room. He used them to train me, to stretch me, and to prepare me to build for His people with clarity, alignment, and conviction.
I do not just see branding. I see bottlenecks.
I do not just see content. I see infrastructure.
I do not just see influence. I see what is missing beneath it.
Most people know they have purpose, but far fewer understand what they are called to do, and even fewer have the systems to build around that calling. That is what birthed the C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T. System.
What I do now is take the strategy, discernment, sales psychology, and systems I mastered in corporate and use them to help His people get clear on their calling and build what they were actually assigned to build.
